CNC horizontal machining

Multi pallet and Twin pallet horizontal CNC machining centres bridge the gap between our specialist 

 5-axis ‘Agile’ cell and the higher-volume production best suited to our Fastems system.

CNC Turning
We have a range of CNC turning capabilities to suit customer requirements, from 8 axis, twin spindle, 
live tooling mill-turn centres to a large diameter single-spindle 2 axis turning, including the ability to run robot-loading lights-out turning. 
Wire EDM
Two EDM (wire eroding) machines allow us to form complex shapes which simply cannot be generated using traditional 
machining techniques, such as 
keyways, internal hexagons, cam profiles etc. 
Inspection Capabilities
We have a comprehensive temperature controlled Quality and Inspection department. 
Equipment includes CNC CMM’s with full offline programming capability, Manual CMMs, Surface Finish testers, Plating Thickness checking equipment and a wide range of manual inspection instruments including micrometers, bore micrometers, 
thread gauges and plug gauges. 
Quality
One fully-equipped, self contained, temperature controlled Quality Department. 
Additional self contained Inspection Cell within the Turning section. 
FAIRs –AS9102, CLE standard documents, customer documents. 
SPC and capability studies. 
In-house calibration. 
Quality management system
Our certified ISO9001:2015 Quality Management System is held on a Wiki and accessible from any PC within the factory. This system holds all the processes, forms and documents required to control manufacturing activities, from enquiry to delivery. We can also process aerospace jobs in accordance with the additional requirements of AS9100.
